Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School has named the winners of the Golden Eagle Award for the fall 2017 athletic season.
The award is presented to the top scholar-athlete in each sport for the quarter. These students have proven they can successfully balance their busy schedules on and off the field. Each student was presented with a Golden Eagle statue.
The winners are: Jackson Bright (boys soccer); Aleksandra Bugajczyk (girls tennis); Christopher Canenguez (cross-country); Ajhani Carroll (girls soccer); Giuseppe Dattolo (football); Emily Korba (gymnastics); Kembalee Rolle (volleyball); and Abigail Romero (field hockey).
