A Video Trip Around Town

On a brisk November day we went driving around town taking photos and assembled them into a short video presentation. We though this would be a nice thing for residents who are no longer in the area, as well as provide some memories for anybody who grew up in Copiague.

We saw a lot of great response to the Indian Island piece we published on Friday and are happy so many people enjoyed that. In our drive to bring you folks valuable content about your hometown, we will be producing more video and multimedia. W e welcome your input and encourage you to use the comments section or the Letters To The Editor to let us know what you’d like to see here.

  1. My hometown. I made my communion, confirmation and got married in Our Lady of the Assumption. I spent many happy Summers on that beach. My friend and I would fold boxes at the pizzeria for a slice and a coke. I went to all the schools there. So many great memories. Thanks for sharing.

  2. It was great to see the places I used to go to growing up. I lived one block from Tanner Park & the beach and have wonderful memories of hanging out with my friends. Copiague my hometown forever!
